Jewell graduated from the University of South Carolina with a bachelor's in mass communications in broadcast journalism. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in journalism at Roosevelt.
While at USC, she was a producing intern for WACH-Fox News. She also interned with the Chicago Tribune. When she's not writing, Jewell enjoys cooking for her friends and family, and occasionally surprises them with hand-knit scarves.

James returns to the Torch as the managing editor after being photo editor. Majoring in journalism, he hopes to be involved with radio when he graduates. He likes to bike, thrift and watch movies. He is also a bit of a computer nerd. But he is very approachable! Ask him something!

Elite is a tech-obsessed foodie (and former staff reporter). She works as an editorial intern for Metromix Chicago and looks forward to graduating this year. In her free time, she chases food trucks and enjoys writing/cooking for the Interwebs.

Giacomo is a third-year journalism student focused in broadcast television and has been a frequent contributing writer and photographer at the Torch. You can usually find him at Starbucks ordering a venti iced coffee.

Meredith is a sophomore journalism and political science double major workaholic from Merrillville, Indiana. When she's not reporting, doing homework or being a fake librarian, she's playing piano, hanging out with cool people or howling with her dog.

This is Britney's fourth year studying journalism and fine arts. Last year, she worked as web editor and returns as the business manager. She works part time as a human resources coordinator for a not-for-profit in Chicago. In her free time, she bakes, plays with cats, and speaks French.
