Men’s Soccer Plays Huntington to 1-1 Draw

The Roosevelt men’s soccer team battled Huntington University to a 1-1 draw on Friday afternoon at Hefner Field on the campus of IPFW.

The Lakers (1-1-2) had its lone goal come from freshman Lane Mita, who converted a pass from John Franco. It was the first career goal for Mita and the first assist in Franco’s brief Roosevelt tenure.

Roosevelt will be back in action on September 12, travelling to Springfield, Ill,., to take on Benedictine-Springfield at 7:00 p.m.
