April 15
--Two 24-year-old students came home to their Robert Morris University dorm room to find pry marks on the door and over $1,000 worth of electronics missing, police reports said.
April 16
--A 21-year-old man reported to police that two men in their 20’s pulled a gun on him and demanded everything in his pockets on the 100 block of East Madison. After handing over his cell phone and wallet containing $120, the two men walked away, reports said.
April 17
--A 20-year-old man reported that a man in his late 20’s grabbed his arm and put a 6 inch knife to his stomach on the 600 block of West Madison. The offender fled with $15, reports said.
April 19
--Police investigated a call about an aggressive panhandler in front of the McDonalds at 36 W Randolph. When they ran a background check, they found the 45-year-old man had failed to register as a sex offender, reports said.
--After responding to a possible sex office at the 2100 block of South State, police arrested a 43-year-old man for possession of crack, reports said.
April 20
--Upon returning to their apartment on the 100 block of East 16th St., a 40-year-old woman and 41-year-old man found pry marks on their apartment door. In side they found almost $1,500 worth of electronic equipment missing, police said.
April 21
--A police officer reported smelling marijuana smoke in the alley of 17 E Adams St. Upon inspection the officer found 4 grams of marijuana on a 35-year-old man and arrested him, reports said.
