James Cameron's "Avatar" was surprisingly nominated for Best Picutre, Drama at the Golden Globes
The Golden Globe nominations are voted by the Hollywood Foreign Press Assoc. They are the biggest early indicator of the Academy Awards. The biggest gripe about the Golden Globes is that they nominate clearly for star power. But they are still something to see.
