Chicago- Students set to live in the Roosevelt on Washington (ROW) dormitories began move-ins on August 28, after a week of temporary housing in the Herman Crown Center (HCC).

CCPA students, new international students and annual contract students scheduled to move in August 23, received emails on August 20 stating that due to a lack of Certificate of Occupancy from the City of Chicago, ROW would not be ready on the planned early move-in date.

Tanya Woltmann, associate vice president of student services, said the owners of ROW provided funds for temporary housing, meal stipends for students and movers to help with the transition from the HCC to ROW.

The move-in date for returning students living in ROW and the University Center is this Saturday. Both dormitories are now ready for occupancy. This is a developing story.
